Charles Street, (410) 752-0311<\/p>\n<p>A Baltimore staple for a long time now, this Afghan restaurant in Mount Vernon is not only delicious but reasonably priced. The interior is calm and a little formal with decorations from Afghanistan. It\u2019s a good place to bring your family or to have a nice dinner with friends. Some popular dishes are the Kaddo Borwani (pumpkin appetizer), the Mantwo pasta shells filled with meat or vegetarian, or any of the kabob plates. In addition to its food, the Helmand\u2019s claim to fame is that it is owned by current Afghan president Hamid Kharzai\u2019s brother. Located right off the Charles Theater, Baltimore\u2019s premiere art house movie theater, Tapas Teatro is perfect for before or after movie dinner and drinks and not too shabby for its own sake. There\u2019s something for everyone- veggies, carni (must try the lamb!!!!), sweet teeth. If you just want to grab a drink, you can buy it at the bar and bring it into the Charles Theater lobby. Located on the first floor of an old apartment building, the elegant restaurant is a bit pricey except for Sunday where the brunch includes a buffet and all you can drink mimosas and screwdrivers for $18!<\/p>\n<p>Mughal Garden<br \/>\n920 N. The restaurant is quite large and can very easily seat large parties for lunch or dinner, and the food is also quite good.<\/p>\n<p>Kumari Restaurant<br \/>\n911 N.
